Adam Sewall

Adam is the Founder, President and CEO of Waterleaf International LLC. 

Adam has been a successful senior executive and entrepreneur in the telecomm industry for more than 20 years. Adam has demonstrated success in complex technology deployments, as well as strategic planning, corporate development M&A, business development, operations and general management. This experience also includes several significant liquidity events for shareholders. 

Adam has had significant experience on the design and deployment as well as the operations of fiber, cellular, point to point and other communications networks in the US, Asia and SE Asia. Included in these deployments are AMPS, GSM, CDMA/TDMA, spread spectrum, Wi-Max/Wi-Fi and various Metro and Long Haul fiber deployments. 

Prior to Waterleaf Adam was the President and CEO of T3 Communications Inc. a next generation CLEC based in Florida. 

Marshall Howard

Marshall Howard EVP at Waterleaf has over 20 years of senior management experience...

This experience is in both startup operations and Fortune 500 companies in multiple areas including Operations, Engineering, and Technology Implementation, Business Planning/Budgeting, Finance/M&A, Revenue Assurance, and Regulatory Affairs.

Mr. Howard is currently serving as the Senior Project Manager and providing other consulting services for multiple network builds and R&D in the US. He is also serving as Board Advisor at, an ecommerce startup venture.

Previously Mr. Howard served as a Vice President at T3 Communications, Inc., a Fort Myers, FL based CLEC and managed services provider. While at T3 he led several projects including T3’s conversion to a fiber based network infrastructure, deployment of WiMax based last mile connectivity, Operational and Support System (OSS) development and opening T3’s Winter Haven data center. His focus on customer service also led to T3 reaching a 99% customer satisfaction rating.


Other past executive positions include:

  1. SVP, Bus Dev and Operations at fastmobile inc. sold to RIM in 2007).

  2. Entrepreneur-in-Residence/Venture Partner at Comventures (now Fuse Capital) a $2B CA based Venture Capital fund

  3. CEO of Spectrum Wireless – OEM/ODM of wireless hardware for last mile solutions (routing at the edge).

  4. Executive management positions (CMO at Trivnet), an M-Commerce infrastructure provider sold to Gemalto

  5. VP Marketing and Sales at Mondial LTD, a consulting and software company providing services to the financial industry.

  6. He has also held executive management positions in operations, strategic planning and corporate development at T-Mobile and Verizon Wireless. 

His technical background includes work in RF engineering, SDR, mobile s/w development, hardware engineering and telecommunications architecture. His project management and operations background include certifications in project management, GSM/PCS, numerous telecom standards and the successful integration of complex infrastructure as well as global deployments of software and communications networks. 

He holds a BS Degree from SUNY and has completed graduate studies in engineering, finance, mathematics and economics at Stevens Institute, Columbia and Pace Universities. 

He serves on various company boards and has been a fundraiser for various community causes over the course of his professional career.

Prior to joining T3, Mr. Howard served as VP of Network Technology and Business Development at Cleartel Communications (now part of Birch Communications) where he played a major role in the acquisition and integration of three other CLECs. Prior to joining Cleartel, he served as VP of Access Revenue and Cost at Choice One Communications (now part of EarthLink) with responsibility for budgeting, revenue assurance and network planning for a 500 collocation network serving 29 markets. Other significant experience includes managing Talk America’s nationwide UNE-P expansion process as VP of Local Operations and serving as VP of Operations at Con Edison Communications responsible for fiber deployment (now part of Light Tower).

Mr. Howard earned a BS in Physics from Rhodes College, a MSEE from Vanderbilt University, and an MBA with concentrations in Finance and Marketing from Southern Methodist University. Mr. Howard also completed post-graduate work in Finance and Economics at Vanderbilt University.

Outside of work, Mr. Howard is an active member of the Rotary Club of Fort Myers.
